Bold prints have been everywhere for a while now. That makes me happy because to know me is to know how much I love beautiful prints and bright colors. I love mixing them, wear them with neutrals or full on like my outfit today. As far as I am concerned bold prints add a lot of personality to my boring outfits. Read More »
Mixing prints and patterns is a game to me. I love playing around in my closet mixing things up especially on days when I feel like I have nothing to wear. I wore these fabulous pants just a few posts ago in another prints mixing post. Read More »
Mixing print is what I do best. What’s up loves, I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend. I am spending mine running errands and working. I wore this skirt only once since I’ve received it from Igigi. With the hot temperatures, I thought it was time to revisit it again. Just like the first time I’ve decided to do a little prints mixing. Do you guys love mixing prints and patterns ? I am obsessed.
Last saturday I fell down the stairs in my garage right after finishing doing groceries and twisted one of my ankles.Yikes ! I am doing much better today. I went to do some x-rays and I am still waiting for the result. I am hoping that nothing is broken inside. Aside from that I am sorta enjoying being pampered by the boys. These pictures were taken a few weeks ago when the weather was so good that we thought we were in spring already. My seven outfits giveaway with Avenue ends this week, make sure to enter if you haven’t already. I wish you all a beautiful week. Read More »
My blogger friend Mo from Lion Hunter and I spent last weekend together, so what do you do when you spend time with another fashion blogger ? Play dress up and shop the whole weekend. On one of those days I asked her to be my personal stylist. She came up with this fab outfit. To say that I am in love with my outfit is an understatement. All the prints work perfectly together. When she was putting the clothes together I was hoping she would forget about these pants which I already wore countless of times on this blog, but I am glad I kept my mouth shut. Mo is a wardrobe consultant, and you know I was not going to let her go without revamping my dressing room ( more pictures later). If you are looking for a wardrobe consultant in Halifax make sure you check her out. This is my last outfit post before thanksgiving , so I wish you all a wonderful thanksgiving and be safe out there.

I am so excited to bring you one of the most requested posts on this blog. I haven’t done a 15 Pieces 30 Different Ways in quite a while. And yes, I’ve promised to make an updated post a long time ago. I don’t know about you but, documenting 30 outfits for one post is exhausting. As you can see in some of the shots I had to seat down.
Mixing prints and patterns is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love it. I love the process of putting two prints together and await for the final result. When I was given the opportunity to choose a few items from Igigi, I had to go with this polka dot skirt, and floral blouse. They have tons of beautiful plus size evening gowns, maxi dresses, skirts and even wedding dresses.
I finally got myself together do another remix post. I know I promised to make one every Thursday, but as you all know, life happens. I receive one or two emails requesting me to start doing them again.
Polka dot and stripes shirts are easy for me to remix because they go with a lot of things in my closet. As I mentioned before, I am not the most creative person when it comes to putting things together quickly. Something that most of us do not do when we are shopping is to think about how we can mix the clothes we are buying with things we already have. I admit, I am guilty of doing that most of the time too. I guess that’s why we all end up with our closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear. My number one rule when getting dressed is to always go by color. Believe me, it makes things so much easier. Let’s take my cream/navy polka dot shirt as an example. I already know that navy works with colors such as pink, orange, yellow, mustard, burgundy, white and so on… Based on that, I looked in my closet to find those colors and the rest is just try ons and a little imagination. To be honest I am not sure if this is a even a trick, maybe everyone use this method already, after all it’s not rocket science. If you love remixing your clothes or just need a help with maximizing your closet make sure to read these previous posts HERE & HERE.
2.Wear it with a bright Blazer
This is my favourite way to wear this shirt. Navy and pink always go together.
Blazer: Old Navy | Shirt: Old Navy | Jeans: Old Navy | Shoes: The bay | Bag: Michael Kors
3. Mix it with other prints or patterns
The number one rule to mixing prints and patterns is to use ones that complement each other or that are in the same color family.
