There are only 3 things I wish for on Mother’s Day: Lot of kisses and hugs from the boys and a cute dress for brunch. This will be my ninth year celebrating mother’s day. Where has time gone? Before we know it we’ll have full-blown teenagers. I feel incredibly blessed to have two happy, healthy children and an incredible husband.

3 Ways To Wear burgundy Pants To Work This Fall

Cardigan/ Cami/ Pants  c/o Reitmans

I have been blogging for years. For all those years I and others have fought tooth and nail for inclusivity and better fashion for plus size women. First, some brands listened and started to make plus-sized lines. We were happy until we found out that the lines would only be carried online (insert sad face). If they were carried in the store, you had to walk into the darkest corner at the back to get them. Even then, the items in plus were different from the straight size ( insert another sad face).

Fast forward to 2017 and enter Reitmans. One of the few brands that took note and made changes. Now, Reitmans carries clothing up to 3x both online and in STORE. Read More »

Off The Shoulder And White Crop Denim

I hope y’all had an amazing week! I sure had a busy one. I’d like to say that’ll take it slow this weekend but who am I kidding? With summer rolling in there is so much to do around the house. I am working on a fun project for the blog and hoping to finish painting the pergola in the backyard. Talking about summer, how cute is this outfit? I think it is the perfect combo for both spring and summer. It features two trends I am loving this season – The cropped pants and off the shoulder. You may think, I am a bit bias because I am the off the shoulder girl, but who wouldn’t want to show a little skin especially when it’s hot outside. Read More »

FFWEEK and CURVYCON (outfits details)

I  can’t begin to tell you how tired I am right now. It’s only the middle of the year and I have already travelled out of the country 3 times. In case you’re not keeping up, I was in Mexico in February, Morocco in May and New York City just last week. My recent trip to New York was nothing short of amazing. I’ve met some amazing bloggers and readers. There were times I was so overwhelmed with the amount of love, I started crying (but y’all know I am a cry baby already). When I started this blog, all I wanted to do was to be myself and hopefully inspire a few people along the way. It was never about being popular but, it was always about bringing a community of women together and have a support system.
