Spring Wish List Ft Primaala

Happy Monday Loves ! I hope you’ve managed to survive another week of extreme cold. I kept myself busy all weekend with house work and I am also in the midst of redoing our guest bedroom (pictured) which will be revealed on the blog soon.

Since I’ve transitioned to a full-time blogger, my days can run anywhere from dropping the kids to school, brand meetings, pulls to events. The less I think about what to wear in the morning the better. That’s why I am adding more classic, timeless and quality pieces to my wardrobe.

A simple and well structured suit like this one from Primaala is my go-to when I want to throw together a quick, stylish yet professional outfit. Although suits are such  classic, staple items for the office, I can easily take this one from day to night by adding some cute accessories.

This suit and white tank are part of a beautiful in-store collection made by Primaala; A cozy Toronto plus size boutique right at the corner of  Dundas and Palmerston Avenue. The store carries both the in-store line and pieces from designers such as Eileen Fisher, James Jeans, Sara Duke, Ronen Chen and more.

During my visit, I instantly fell in love with the in-store collection. All pieces are made from high quality fabrics, that are meticulously sourced from Canadian suppliers. Rachel Holt (store owner and designer) who is plus size woman herself, takes inspiration from high fashion houses and the street wear she sees every day in downtown Toronto. Collection by Primaala offers on-trend pieces, with incredible attention to detail that are typically unavailable in the plus market.

For someone who does about 90% of her shopping online, It’s refreshing to walk into a local boutique and find clothing that fit and most importantly made in Canada. Rachel is super friendly. May I mention she has an incredible style too ? Hey ! Next time you’re thinking about adding some quality pieces to wardrobe, stop by Primaala and tell them I sent you. Over the coming weeks, I will be sharing via the blog and instagram some of the incredible pieces i’ve found.
