SUZY SHIER PLUS

Plus size fashion blogger: snakeskin dress + blue clutch + Nude Shoes- Suzy Shier plus
A few weeks ago, Canadian retailer Suzy Shier announced that they’ve added a plus size line to their brand. Last week, I met with a rep from the company. They wanted to come check out the new line and provide some feedback. Hmmm! is someone asking me for feedback? You best believe I told them exactly what I thought about the line and also what we plus size women want. The sizes range from 1x to 3x (Junior sizes). The collection offers pieces that are perfect for any occasion, not to mention, the amazing prices (varying from $12-$50). I tried almost every single item currently available from the line and came home with a few. You will find everything from animal prints, striped, floral, zipper details and a touch of military in a few pieces. It’s also amazing that many of the items are extensions of the regular line.

I am sharing my absolute favourite item today. I am wearing a 3X and the fabric is very stretchy. In Canada, options for places to buy plus size clothing are very limited. I am glad that Suzy Shier has heard our cries and has decided to add a plus line to their stores.  I really love the fact that the Suzy Shier plus collection is available both  in their 70 stores and online at suzyshier.com. We get the chance to try the items in the store and know how they fit our curves.FYI: They do ship in the US.

You look amazing! That dress is great on you.
I assume junior sizing means we should size up? What size do you normally wear? I see you went to 3x for this.

      Hello Deena,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, junior size means that the sizes are smaller. They are not the same as women plus. I would recommend sizing up. Many of the items have stretch in them. I usually wear a 2x or 18/20 depending on the brand. Let me know if you have more questions.
