Hello from the other side! It looks like that’s how we are going to be greeting each other for a little while. I hope you guys are all doing ok and practicing social distancing. My heart is with everyone that has no choice but to go out to work or take care of others. You guys are heroes. These last few months have been hard for me both physically and mentally, so if you had told me that there was a pandemic ahead of us that will have us confined in our homes and claims hundreds of lives, I would not believe you. Yet here we are, all in one boat trying to get to shore as safely as possible. I am dealing with a lot of anxiety, stress, and uncertainty because of the unknown ahead of us.

Apple Picking At Chudleigh’s Farm
September 5, 2017I am starting to feel that little chill in the air. That could only mean one thing- sweater weather is here. You know what else that means? Fun Fall activities are near. Grab your baskets and prepare to be amazed by the scenery as I take you to a fun filled day at Chudleigh’s Farm. What a difference a year makes! Last year when we went apple picking, the kids were so much smaller. I never knew that documenting our little life through this blog would bring me so much joy. Read More »
Guess who is going to get down and get dirty this summer? Apparently not me. When my husband asked me to come help him clear our backyard to get ready for summer gardening this is how I showed up. Oh yes! Even backyard work has to be done in style.
We’ve been trying to get our back and front yards lawn awesomely lush and green for a while now. It’s safe to say that we’ve made a considerable amount of mistakes along the way. Summer is getting closer and it’ll soon be time to get down with the lawn. We’ve had some time to get ready and plan things out. Over the next couple of posts, we’ll be documenting our efforts along the way and hope that you’ll take the journey with us (husband and I) and possibly share some of your results as well. “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” Nelson Mandela
I am that mom that is always preaching to her children how important it is to brush their teeth. Oh yes, I even took it to the next level by showing them a photo of rotten teeth. What they don’t know is that mommy sometimes does not practice what she preaches.
Alright, it’s confession time. Read More »

my Instagram and my blog. One of my resolutions last year was to explore Canada and one of this year’s was to embrace Winter. I have to come to terms with the fact that I live in a very cold country and I have to make the most out of winter. We are not escaping to an island this winter because of the low loonie. Instead we are finding fun
places within Canada to escape to.
