Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. I’ve finally decided to write an extensive post about plus size rompers and jumpsuits.. I know they are not everyone’s cup of tea because they can be quite intimidating. Today, I would like to address the two main questions I get from you guys. The first is “where to buy plus size rompers and jumpsuits?”. How to wear monochromatic like a pro? I don’t think I am a pro at this, but based on the few times I’ve worn a monochromatic outfit I think I can share a few tips with you. I wore this beauty a few weeks ago, edited the photos and forgot about it until I had a conservation with a friend today about pleated skirts. If you ever thought you could not wear them because of your midsection, I am living proof that you can. I have been blogging for years. For all those years I and others have fought tooth and nail for inclusivity and better fashion for plus size women. First, some brands listened and started to make plus-sized lines. We were happy until we found out that the lines would only be carried online (insert sad face). If they were carried in the store, you had to walk into the darkest corner at the back to get them. Even then, the items in plus were different from the straight size ( insert another sad face).

I’ve sat here now for several hours trying to figure out what to write. I could tell you about this beautiful floral cold shoulder dress, but it’s the end of summer. It would be foolish of me to ask you to invest in it when we are headed colder months unless you really like it of course. When I heard the news that Canadian clothing retailer, Joe Fresh was launching a plus size line or I should say extending their line for its fall collection, I was excited, to say the least. I have squeezed myself in many of their pieces in the past so the news that some of the new merchandises will go up to size 3x was absolute music to my ears.
As a visible fat woman, plus size, whatever you want to call it, it’s always a win when a brand decides to add a plus size line or better yet simply extend their original line. It’s an acknowledgment that women like me love fashion and deserve to look good. And….. nothing like a one stop shop, grocery, and clothes shopping will be completed together.
