FRENCH CURVES: “incarner un personnage réel ou fictif”

It’s time for another French Curves challenge. For those of you who are new here, French Curves is a monthly outfit challenge for curvy French speaking bloggers.This month’s challenge is to embody and or recreate a look from a celebrity ( singer, actress, …..) or a movie character. I have decided to recreate this look from the beautiful Miroslava Duma former editor of Harper’s Bazaar Russia. I have been looking for a blue pantsuit for while with no luck. I’ve had this blazer for while, so when I found these pants from a sale rack at penningtons, I had to grab it. The colors don’t match, but I  thought they were close enough to recreate this look. Colored suits are not easy to find, so you better off buying the pieces separate.

STYLE ME FRIDAY: MONOCHROMATIC

Plus size fashion inspiration

Hola loves ! I had another post scheduled for today but decided to post that on Monday because I had to take part of the Style me Friday this week. In case you don’t know what Style me Friday is all about you can check out the Fashionista Next Door for all the details.The challenge this week was  pull off a monochromatic look  but  your easy white on white or all black we had to  use some colors. I am not going to lie I tried a few items in the same color range but they all kind felt flats. At the end I settle for this one because the color worked together. You can  check out the Fashionista Next Door to see what everyone else is wearing. Check out more photos below…… Read More »

{SPRING IS IN THE AIR }

 Hello Spring! Even if we still have snow on the ground.  I hope we are going to have beautiful days ahead. If you ask me how many times I wore this blazer within the last couple of weeks I am not sure i could give you an answer. It’s like all of the sudden it goes with everything in  my closet. I was supposed to attend a blogger event by Glam Media on Monday night, unfortunately due to the weather I had to stay home. I was so pissed because it was a great opportunity to meet other bloggers and also potential Sponsors. Toronto Fashion week is in full swing and I really hope to attend a few shows next year. Here is what I am wearing:

{WEEKEND SWAG}

If you and I ever meet during the weekend somewhere in GTA, this is most likely how I will be dressed.   I will usually dress lighter in case I am going to the thrift shop because it’s much easier to try things on. I read many blogs and some of the bloggers are so elegant that I can’t help but to ask myself if they look this way everyday. Oh well ! I make sure I am always presentable when I leave my house because you never know who you are going to meet outside ,other than that if you and I are hanging out in my house I will be in a dress or a t-shirt and sweatpants. Do you ever wonder what your favorite bloggers look like outside of blogville ?
