How To Kick Sickness To The Curb Before It Gets Started

Brought to you by Jamieson and TheCo.

Imagine booking a vacation and your entire family ends up getting sick just a few days before your trip. That’s exactly what happened to us last December. I had our hotel booked in Quebec City, suitcases almost packed and boom; one of my little munchkin comes home with a stomach bug. To make matters worse my husband also came home from a business trip with a nasty cold. The kind that made him stay in bed for days. If I am honest that was a blessing in disguise because he needed to slow down a bit. Besides, I am sure he enjoyed being taken care of for a few days. Read More »

I am still trying to figure out how I am going to explain to the kids I couldn’t get my hands on one of the hottest toys of the year yet: the fingerlings.

In the meantime, I got my hands on plenty of other fun gifts for the boys from Walmart Canada that I know they will enjoy this holiday season and for years to come. Read More »

 Winter travel outfit ideas- mycurvesandcurls.com

Happy New Year loves ! I hope you all had a fantastic end of year. I’ve been a little M.I.A as of late because I am not a fan of the end of the year. Ever since I reached my 30s, I go through some anxiety especially during the last week of  December. I always think about all the things I could have accomplished the last 12 months. Time never waits for anyone. With that being said, I still grateful for all the opportunities I received over the last year.

Beat Bugs Now Streaming On Netflix + a Giveaway !

Beat Bugs

At home we love music, and have something playing in the background most of the time.

We like to reminisce about our younger days, you know those past perfect memories that always have a song associated to them and the song seemed to be just right for the moment, so much so that every time you hear the specific tune again, you can’t help but relieve the moment, think about your friends, before you know it a smile creeps up on your face and you’re singing… Read More »

The Stream Team ( with Netflix)

Netflix canada stream team

A few years ago, my husband decided to get rid of cable. He noticed that we were barely watching TV and thought that those extra dollars could go into something else. To be honest I was not happy at first, because anyone who knows me  knows how much I love watching TV. I bet my mum would have plenty of stories to tell you about. Let’s just say this woman is not a big fan of sudden change. I am glad for once I did not resist because it was one of the best decisions at the time for our family. Read More »
