Daytona Beach in One day

Winter is here!  Repeat after me, Winter is here! Like most people around this time of the year, I am spending half of my day complaining about the freezing temperatures and the other half looking at pictures of beautiful beaches around the world. A little escape to the sun sounds like a great idea right? Today I am the bearer of good news, not any good news, a historic news and I was part of it.

The Perfect Weekend Itinerary For Visiting Prince Edward County

It’s very hard to scroll through my Instagram these days without stumbling on a photo of Prince Edward County. Could it be because of the gastronomical delight, wineries, the antique shops or the art galleries? I must say it really piqued my curiosity. I have lived in Ontario for ages but never visited that side of the province.

A few days ago, we packed and headed to Prince Edward County for the perfect family getaway. Yes, friends, the County is not only for lovebirds and wine lovers, there are plenty of activities available for families. It only took us a few minutes of driving around to create an endless bucket list of things to do as a family. To help you plan your next visit, I’ve put together the perfect weekend itinerary to exploring and experiencing all the good things the County has to offer. Grab your tea, wine, coffee or whatever you have in hands because this is going to be a long and detailed post. Read More »

Over the holidays, we traveled to Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls. After hearing so much about this amazing place, we finally decided to take some time off to have fun with the kids. December is a birth month of my first son, what is a better gift than having a good time an entire weekend in a place that is geared toward kids. I can’t wait to tell you all about our trip in an upcoming post, but first, can we talk about our fabulous room? Read More »

Dubai Desert Safari Experience – What to expect

Dubai Desert Safari-what-to-wear

Picture shot with my Samsung Note 5. No editing

When I booked my flight to Dubai, I knew that going to the Dubai Desert Safari was one of the things I had to do before I left. Is it not every day you get to ride a camel or watch a belly dancer right? Finding the right company was a job of his own. Dubai is a tourist destination; the options are endless. There are some good ones and some not so good ones. Most tour companies offer relatively the same kind of experience. Depending on what you can afford, your experience might be slightly different. Do your research and read reviews before booking anything. I booked my tour via viator.com.

Traveling in Comfort and Style: What to wear to the airport

What to wear to the airport from cold to warm ( plus size)
As you probably already know I am currently on a trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi with my sister. I will tell you more about our vacation later, in the meantime see all my photos on Instagram. I love travelling the world and discovering new places and cultures. I remember when I was younger, I used to dress up for the plane ride. When I said dress up, I mean nice dress, heels and everything like I was a celebrity. I hope you caught the sarcasm, because no one can dress like those celebrities with high knee boots and heels coming from the airport like they’re shooting a movie. I can’t say I do not envy them , but that is just not real life.

A Mini Vacation in Mont Tremblant Village & Ski Resort

As mentioned before, I’ve decided to embrace winter and do more winter activities with my family this year. A few weeks ago, we visited one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to, The Mont Tremblant village & Ski Resort. We had actually scheduled a trip there back in December, but had to cancel because of a snow storm. I am glad we’ve finally made it there right before the end of the season.
