Great Wolf Lodge – Grand Wolf Suite review

Over the holidays, we traveled to Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls. After hearing so much about this amazing place, we finally decided to take some time off to have fun with the kids. December is a birth month of my first son, what is a better gift than having a good time an entire weekend in a place that is geared toward kids. I can’t wait to tell you all about our trip in an upcoming post, but first, can we talk about our fabulous room?
Something I never look forward to when we travel as a family is sharing a room with the kids. At this point, they are not big enough to get a separate room, so the next best thing is to get a suite. Unveiled just a few months ago, the Grand Wolf suite had everything we wanted on this trip. The room can hold up to 8 people, comes with its private parking spot, reserved seats at the water park and the cherry on top – we could check-out at 1 PM instead of 11 AM.

The suite offers a private bedroom with a king bed. Guys! I promise you this was one of the best beds I’ve ever slept on. It’s sturdy and cozy. When I asked the kids what was their favorite part of the suite, they both said our bed. They wanted to climb in so bad. Now my husband wants one in our bedroom… seriously, it’s that good.

The bathroom was equally beautiful, but very small compared the rest of the suite. Beggars cannot be choosers , I guess you can’t have everything.

The kids sleeping area faces the dining space. Both rooms have TVs.

The dining area has everything a normal hotel room offers, in-room safe, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board….

The semi-private living area with a full-size sofa sleeper felt so cozy and is equipped for every occasion. We felt right at home. Overall I think the room was well worth it. Even though you’ll spend a lot of time out in the water park and doing other activities, it was nice to come back to our giant suite. If you’re traveling with a large group, or family  you may want to consider getting into this suite instead off 2 standard rooms.

Great wolf Lodge very kindly offered us a room upgrade. As always, my thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
