Staying Organized While Traveling-Packing Cubes

Staying Organized While Traveling - Packing cubes

I am sure I’ve mentioned before that packing is my one my least favorite parts of traveling. Since it’s something that cannot be avoided, finding ways to make it easy has become a priority. Introducing packing cubes. Where have these been all my life? In case you do not know, packing cubes are little pouches that help you organize your suitcase. They make the organization process so much easier.

A set comes in different sizes ( large to small). Imagine packing for 4 people, and trying to unpack and sort things out once you arrive at your destination- Nightmare.Oh! Have you ever overpacked and once at the airport asked to remove stuff out of your suitcase while everyone is watching? – Another nightmare. At least with the packing cubes, you’ll only have to move one of the cubes from point A to point B while keeping your items private.

No more “Mom where are my socks?”

Not all packing cubes are created equal (find mine here). There are many options available and some of them even come with their own laundry pouch and shoe bag.Two things I love about my packing cubes

First, they are lightweight because no one needs extra weight

Second, I love the mesh at the top. It makes it easier to know where everything is kept without even opening it.

Last but not least, a suitcase and a backpack all in one. This bag is currently on my Amazon wishlist. I must admit that it’s a bit pricey but totally worth it. I wish I knew about it when my kids were much younger. Dragging a wheeled carry-on while pushing a stroller is not a good scene. Check out  all the other colors here  and a smaller version here

I hope this post was helpful. Please let me know how you stay organized while on the go.
