Our guest bedroom is slowly coming together. I can’t wait until the big reveal day ! In the meantime here is a little sneak peek of what the bedside will eventually look like. I say eventually because this girl changes her mind all the time. By the time you see the final product the little spot might look different. I recycled the 2-drawer chest from the boys bedroom and added to some handles to make it look a bit more expensive. This was one of my favorite and simplest Ikea hacks ever.
I love prints and patterns. I’ve looked everywhere for an art piece with beautiful black and white patterns. Then, I spotted this patterned pillow cover on the H&M site on sale for only $4.99. I bought 2 and placed them in this Ikea picture frame. There is one on each side of the bed. I decided not to cut them at all because I might use them as pillowcases in the future. Using a patterned fabric or in this case a pillow cover is a great way to make something unique for your house.
