This post is all about the side of blogging you do not see.Well, that is not necessarily true because if you follow me on Instagram Stories, you might have seen a snippet of these events and even some of the pr packages I have received over January and February. This is my chance to share unbiased and honest reviews of the products that I’m gifted by Pr companies on behalf of brands.Nothing in this post is sponsored in any shape or form. I do have a whole lot of things to share. However, It’s best if I keep these posts to a minimum of 2 to 3 products. Please note that I will also review some of the them individually, so keep an eye out.
January and February 2018 have been a little slow but still exciting. I went to a few events and came home with a few exciting products. Let’s get started!
Olay Whip Face Moisturizer launch
Last January, Olay launched their much anticipated new moisturizer; Olay Whip. A lot of women love moisturizers that produce great results but cannot deal with the heaviness certain moisturizers. Olay came up with a product that claims to be super light, provide a smooth matte finish and retails for $39.99. After the event, which by the way was off the chain we were all gifted with our own Olay Whip. I came home with the Regenerist Whip ( with & without SPF ), but the product is also available inTotal Effects Whip and Luminous.
As I am writing this post, I’ve used my Olay Whips for only two weeks. When I first tried it, I was drawn to it because of its texture. It went on smoothly and instantly absorbed into my skin with a matte finish. That made it the perfect moisturizer for me to wear under my make up since my skin is oily. As I get older, moisturizers that help fight wrinkles have become very important. The Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer also features an anti-wrinkle formula. So far I am loving it and would recommend it to anyone looking for firmness and smoothness. Please keep it away from your eyes; I learned that the hard way. I am hoping to give you an update in a month time.
Rosa Faia lingerie
The next products I loved this month are the Rosa Faia undergarments. I had the pleasure of visiting their showroom in Toronto a few weeks ago. Anita is a brand I had never worn or even heard off. However, I assumed if I was invited to come, they must have something to offer to plus size women. I went in with an open mind and left impressed by their offering, quality and size range (A to J cup).
After my fitting and learning some fun facts about the brand, I came home with a few bras set I fell in love with. Let me make something clear before we continue, all the bras mentioned below are investment bras. They are not cheap but will last you years based on the quality.

The Rosa Faia Fleur and Selma Underwire Bras
As a 30-plus years old woman, an undergarment that is functional, comfortable and gives a beautiful silhouette are vital to me. The Rosa Faia Fleur and Selma Underwire Bras offer all that and some. These underwire bras are both beautifully designed giving you a flawless and feminine look.
Selma is a gorgeous lace bra with the most beautiful straps. Fleur is equally beautiful but a lot more old school. You’re going to get lots of support because of the thick bands and wide straps. The wires sit perfectly around my breast tissue. Two bras with cups that hold my breast in place with no gaping or overspill are winners.
Anita and Rosa Faia also produce sport bras, mastectomy bras, swimsuits for all shapes and sizes. If you’ll like to get your own set, click here for a full list in and around Toronto.
