Off The Shoulder And White Crop Denim

I hope y’all had an amazing week! I sure had a busy one. I’d like to say that’ll take it slow this weekend but who am I kidding? With summer rolling in there is so much to do around the house. I am working on a fun project for the blog and hoping to finish painting the pergola in the backyard. Talking about summer, how cute is this outfit? I think it is the perfect combo for both spring and summer. It features two trends I am loving this season – The cropped pants and off the shoulder. You may think, I am a bit bias because I am the off the shoulder girl, but who wouldn’t want to show a little skin especially when it’s hot outside. Read More »

Closet Remix: How to wear 10 pieces 20 different ways

Happy Thursday! I finally got my act together to bring you another closet remix post. This time I opting for the 10 pieces 20 different ways challenge.  Right after fashion week, I’ve made the decision to get rid of half of my closet. Yes, half of my closet. I know someone asked me over on Instagram if I wanted to sell my clothes. I wanted to, but then again at this point I just do not have the time nor the energy to do a sale. Half of the clothes already went to the Salvation Army, and the other half is sitting in a suitcase waiting for my sister to pick up (lucky girl !).

I have a lot, I mean a lot of clothes. Lately, I have been overwhelmed with my dressing room. There were clothes too small, out of date, or simply sitting there with tags.I realized that I am actually more in love with the idea of a full closet than what is actually there. I want to start fresh. Letting go was not easy, but I had to. My style has changed within the last few years and some of these items no longer fit my personal style. Now, I can almost see everything I own.

STYLE ME FRIDAY: MONOCHROMATIC

Plus size fashion inspiration

Hola loves ! I had another post scheduled for today but decided to post that on Monday because I had to take part of the Style me Friday this week. In case you don’t know what Style me Friday is all about you can check out the Fashionista Next Door for all the details. The challenge this week was  pull off a monochromatic look  but  your easy white on white or all black we had to  use some colors. I am not going to lie I tried a few items in the same color range but they all kind felt flats. At the end I settle for this one because the color worked together. You can  check out the Fashionista Next Door to see what everyone else is wearing. Check out more photos below…… Read More »
