I know I have not been blogging as much these past few months but trust me I am still working hard to create good content for you. In fact, my next post is going to be all about budgeting and saving. Yes, it has nothing to do with fashion or beauty but it will give you a little insight into how I manage my finances. Read More »
off the shoulder
I hope y’all had an amazing week! I sure had a busy one. I’d like to say that’ll take it slow this weekend but who am I kidding? With summer rolling in there is so much to do around the house. I am working on a fun project for the blog and hoping to finish painting the pergola in the backyard. Talking about summer, how cute is this outfit? I think it is the perfect combo for both spring and summer. It features two trends I am loving this season – The cropped pants and off the shoulder. You may think, I am a bit bias because I am the off the shoulder girl, but who wouldn’t want to show a little skin especially when it’s hot outside. Read More »
Another day, another off the shoulder dress. You can’t blame a girl for dreaming about Spring and Summer in the middle of January. To be honest, this question is a little hard to answer because what might be affordable to me might not be for you.We can least agree that a piece of clothing under $50 is affordable to most. Cardigan/ Cami/ Pants c/o Reitmans
I have been blogging for years. For all those years I and others have fought tooth and nail for inclusivity and better fashion for plus size women. First, some brands listened and started to make plus-sized lines. We were happy until we found out that the lines would only be carried online (insert sad face). If they were carried in the store, you had to walk into the darkest corner at the back to get them. Even then, the items in plus were different from the straight size ( insert another sad face).
Fast forward to 2017 and enter Reitmans. One of the few brands that took note and made changes. Now, Reitmans carries clothing up to 3x both online and in STORE. Read More »
