Happy Monday loves! Last week, I took over the Insta Stories of Shoppers Drugmart to share my quick and easy skin care routine. Talk about going through all kind of emotions. I am super nervous everytime I step in front of a camera to tape a video. Thankfully everything went well and the feedback from those who follow my stories have been positive. For those who missed the broadcast, I thought it would be nice to write a blog post to share all the details. The evening skincare routine I am about to share is for every woman who is living a busy life. If your evening skincare requires a lot of products and steps, nothing wrong with that. On Sundays, there are a few extra steps I take, since I have a little bit more time.

Quick and Easy Evening SkinCare Routine.
Skincare is something I didn’t care about until my late 20s. I would come home every day, remove my makeup, maybe wash my face and that was it. I did not tone my face let alone moisturize. All that changed when I started blogging and started to have access to countless of beauty products. By going to many beauty events and talking to beauty experts I learned the importance skincare. Obviously I am not an expert, however, these are some of the products I have been using for some time now and they get the job done. My routine has only 3 steps – Cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Cleanse
Does anyone hate removing her makeup especially when your face still looks good? I bet I am not the only one. As much as it looks good all those products on your face have to go before bedtime. Our faces need to breathe and nighttime is the best time for the products to do their work. I have always loved using wipes. They are easy to use, transport and best of all get the job done quickly. Not all wipes are created equals though. I have used wipes before that were dry, rough & left my face irritated. If you have not yet, try the Clinique Take the Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes for Face & Eyes. The wipes are saturated with Micellar cleansing liquid and are appropriate for all skin type (I have oily skin). To further cleanse my face after removing my makeup with the Clinique wipes I use the Biotherm Biosource Self Foaming Water. This soap-free, light, foaming product leaves your skin soft and fresh.

Tone
In my line of work, I get to try a lot of products. So far, the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 4 is one of my absolute favorite toners. My mom started using it years ago and she always makes sure to restock when she comes here. After my cleanse, I like to go in with this 100% fragrance-free toner. It gets rid of all the excess oil and flakes on my face. Using a toner before I moisturize allows my moisturizer to do a better job. Toners are recommended for both morning and evening skincare routines.
Moisturize
Guest who used to skip to step? I thought I did not need to moisturize because of my very oily skin. Well! I learned the hard way. I am still on the hunt for the next best moisturizer for oily skin but for now the Revitalizing Supreme + Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Creme is doing a good job. Now, many people have complained about breaking out after using this product, I have not so far. It leaves my silky soft and has reduced my lines. This moisturizer produces a better result if paired with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.
There you have it loves, my fast and easy evening skincare routine. The Beauty Boutique by Shoppers has so many skincare options from various brands and all skin types.
