Happy Friday! My closet is full of so many goodies, some I bought and some were sent to me. I just wish I had enough days in the year to wear them all. Since I can’t, I try to purge every six months or so to get rid of pieces I no longer need. I am not going to lie I get attached to my clothes and it’s hard for me to give them away. For instance, take the sweater I am wearing in today’s post. I bought a few years ago and every time I tried to get it I could not. Glad I kept it though because it paired perfectly with these cute culottes I also purchased sometimes last year.

How to wear culottes in the winter
For the longest time, I avoided wearing culottes. I thought they would make me look bigger than I am. The moment I tried my first pair, I was hooked. They are perfect for all seasons and work everywhere from the office to a cocktail party. The above look can be easily tweaked by replacing the pumps with ankle boots,Over the Knee Boots and adding another layer.This oversized coat would be perfect. I also love the idea of pairing it with a chunky sweater and sneakers. If you are not sure how to wear culottes in the winter, just remember that layering is key.
