I had the most amazing time this past weekend at Bestival Toronto thanks to Addition Elle. Myself, two other bloggers ( Thera, Annika) and radio personality Meredith Shaw were sent to check out the festival at Woodbine park in Toronto.We had such a fun time going from stage to stage listening to different bands, dancing, and tasting food from a wide range of food trucks. Addition Elle not only provided us with some beautiful clothes to wear to the event, but they also provided us with a backpack full of goodies. Let’s just say we had everything we needed to survive the festival.
Before I picked up my clothes, I thought hard about the kind of outfit this mama of two could wear to a festival without looking like a 15 years old. I wanted something comfy, breathable, that I can also wear after the festival. Addition Elle had plenty of options available.
For the first day, I went with this beautiful light denim dress. It was the right length to let the air in and out, also comfy enough to dance the day away. You’ve got to see the details on the back.
The second day, I chose to wear this linen and crochet hemline cami, because as we all know linen is one of the most breathable fabrics on the market. It comes in four colors with matching shorts. The denim shorts were just the right fit. They’re not completely high waisted but high enough to take you in.

Going to Bestival next year, here are a few tips:
- Do wear comfortable clothes and shoes
- Public transit is always a good idea
- Do read the rules before you head out to the festival. oh boy ! read it here
- Do bring an extra layer for cold nights
- Avoid heavy makeup
- Have your cash handy, the food places only take cash.
- A reusable water bottle + sunscreen
- Do have fun and dance the night away
