HO! HO! HO! Welcome to my very first holiday home tour! You guys have been getting glimpses of my family room on Instagram and have been asking for a little tour, so there you have it! A little snippet of what Christmas looks like at our home. Quick note, our tree has yet to be decorated and with Christmas just a few days away I might just leave it the way it is.
I really haven’t been myself lately. End of the year always makes me feel that way. Thinking about all the things I could have done, all the places I could have gone to, missed out opportunities, missed play time with my kids. Even though I am proud of what I have accomplished the struggle is still real. One thing that makes me happy around this time of the year though is decorating our home. I love going around looking at Christmas decor, scrolling Pinterest for inspiration and just basically switching things around.
Despite me thinking I was going to just repeat the same decor from last year, I could not resist all the new cute Christmas decor floating around. I used a lot of what I had but mixed in some new pieces from Walmart Canada. With the prices being so affordable it was the perfect way to bring life to this room.
I started by rearranging the room to try something new with our Structube Horizon Modular sectional sofa. Honestly, I have not talked to one person that had anything bad to say about this sofa. It’s super comfy and cozy and the best part? you can rearrange however you please. If you live somewhere where Structube is not available this Kadence Reversible Modular Sectional from Wayfair is the closest I could find.

Although I love bold colors when it comes to our home I like to keep things as neutral as possible because the truth is I just like moving and switching things around quite often. Also, it allows me to introduce different colors each season. Many of the items in this room are from Walmart Canada and Homesense. I’ve linked them along with similar items in case you still have to decorate.

I loved how everything turned out so far but i am still on the market for a flocked tree which I think might just wait until boxing day to get it for next year.
