Casual Holiday Party outfit

Are you invited to a casual Christmas party this year?  I was and this is what I wore. We have a bunch of parties to attend before the end of the year, and although it’s fun to wear a glamorous outfit to each party, I really appreciate the parties where the dress code is casual but festive. This look is perfect for a festive game night with friends, or a holiday cocktail with your neighbors  

 

What to wear to a Casual Christmas Party

 The perfect casual Christmas party outfit requires comfort (The sneakers) coziness ( The sweater), and a touch of glitz  ( sequins skirt). Sequin is a super glam piece that dresses up everything and lends a festive feel to an outfit, whether it’s something small like these booties  (love these too!) or something a little bigger, like the midi skirt I am wearing. 

The skirt has been on repeat every holiday season ever since I purchased it from Lane Bryant two years ago. The inside is lined and really warm.  Don’t you just love pieces you can wear over and over again? I feel like I got my money’s worth. A good plus size Midi sequin skirt is hard to come by so if you find one get it! Here a few I am loving right now.
