I am getting ready to take my flight this afternoon for sunny Punta Cana with Sunwing vacations. Pinch me twice ! Spring break couldn’t have been a better time, especially with the nasty weather we’ve been having as of late. Many of you had questions regarding a few of the things I packed for the trip. Since I could not answer to all the questions on my instatories, I thought I would share some of my favorite swimsuits, bags, sandals, basically everything you need for a tropical vacation. Who watched the Oscars Sunday night? It was one of the best Oscar shows I’ve watched in a while. Everything went smoothly until the last few minutes off course. I felt so bad for the winners who ended up losing, but happy that Moonlight took it home. The star of the night was Mahershala Ali. I’ve seen him in so many shows on Netflix including, House of Cards, Luke Cage, and Suit to name a few. He is an incredible actor. Read More »
This post has been in-demand ever since I collaborated with World Vision Canada to promote World Day against child labor last year. Every now and then, I get an email begging me to finally fulfill my promise to share the best plus size ethical and eco-friendly brands available in North America and beyond. At first, I was very reluctant because I run a lifestyle blog that features products from all kind of brands. In another word, this blog is by no means an example of how to lead a sustainable lifestyle. Then, I thought why not? Part of my job as blogger is to share information and help others.
Many people (myself included) are guilty of amassing piles of clothes, shoes and barely use half of them. As much as I try to buy less and invest in quality pieces, I still have a thing for fast fashion. I have no issue admitting that I am part of the problem. I am willing to take small steps toward changing my buying habits, be part of the solution by investing more and more in plus size ethical fashion brands.
Every now and then, you meet that one person that will help shape your life. Most times you won’t see it happen. When you look back at your life and career, you can’t help but notice the person who was there to offer valuable life experience and advice when you needed it. The one that pushed you to challenge yourself. The one that helped you take difficult decisions and encouraged you to continue building and living your dreams.
I was privileged to have met such an amazing person and it’s none other than my husband. Read More »

Do you have a travel wish list ? Every year I make a long list of places I would love to visit with my family or by myself. Unfortunately, I don’t make it to every place on my list due to lack of time and or money.Traveling and decorating our home are two things I am planning to invest and focus on this year.Today, I’m sharing a few travel destinations I would love to visit in 2017. The list includes cities from around the world and within Canada. I must confess that going through airports is not my fave thing to do, especially with recent events. Last year was fantastic; we were able to go to New York, Mont Tremblant, Great Wolf Lodge as a family. I went to Dubai with my sister, and Boston to visit my family. Not bad for a year.
