There are only 3 things I wish for on Mother’s Day: Lot of kisses and hugs from the boys and a cute dress for brunch. This will be my ninth year celebrating mother’s day. Where has time gone? Before we know it we’ll have full-blown teenagers. I feel incredibly blessed to have two happy, healthy children and an incredible husband.
What I am wearing for Mother’s day
Since we are going to be abroad on Mother’s day this year, we’ve decided to celebrate a little bit earlier. Just like in this post, I made a quick stop by Reitmans to find something fun and flirty. The choice was not easy since it’s spring and new styles (including florals, off the shoulders, and more) are added to the store each week. After going back and forth, I finally settled for this beautiful sleeveless mini dress. It’s simple, flatters my figure and It comes in both regular and plus size. They say you can never have enough little black dresses, especially those that can be worn for different occasions. Take this look from brunch to work by adding either a blazer or layer it with this beautiful white shirt. For a more casual look, opt for a denim jacket and a pair of converse if you are the sporty type of course. I am sure you guessed it already; you’ll be seeing a lot of this dress on the blog over the course of this summer.
Before I end this post, there is one incredible thing about I must mention about Reitmans. Almost all of their items go from xxs to xxxl (3x). I thought this worth mentioning because inclusion matters.
