Happy New Year loves ! I hope you all had a fantastic end of year. I’ve been a little M.I.A as of late because I am not a fan of the end of the year. Ever since I reached my 30s, I go through some anxiety especially during the last week of December. I always think about all the things I could have accomplished the last 12 months. Time never waits for anyone. With that being said, I still grateful for all the opportunities I received over the last year.
I thank God for allowing me to see another year in good health with my family. I hope 2017 will be a much better year for myself and all of you out there. For those of you who still take time out of your day to read this little blog, your support means a lot to me. I am working on bringing a variety of content this year.
On a lighter note, we took an amazing trip to Niagara Falls around the holidays, and I did not have to time to share my travel outfit with you. A few of the items were picked out from Le Chateau right before our trip. Whether you’re traveling by plane, by car or train a comfortable winter travel outfit is a must. I’ve already written an extensive post about my must-haves and how to travel in comfort by plane. You are more than welcome to check it out here.
Obviously, it’s much easier to dress the way you desire to especially if the road trip is only 2.5 hours away. There is no security or long hauls to worry about.
When I travel during the winter months, thin layers are a must. Depending on the destination, I can easily remove or add more layers without feeling bulky. Instead of a jacket, I opted for this beautiful shall from Le Chateau. Layering it on top of a turtleneck is perfect. I can totally turn it into a scarf as well.
Last but not least, dark colors are always better, especially for long hauls.
