30 stylish Plus Size Transitional Pieces For Fall

Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. Some of my favorite transitional pieces are trenchcoats (black, and camel), utility jackets, lightweight cardigans, ankle boots, scarves, denim shirts, long sleeve dresses, white shirts, pretty printed blouses, flannel shirts, etc.

My outfit today is the perfect pre-fall look. The blouse (Reitmans) is not heavy however it gives you some coverage and can be easily paired with a trench coat or leather jacket. Also, my pair of jeans from Old Navy is a must-have. Been looking for skinny jeans long enough to cover my legs and tight enough to accentuate my curves. This is it friends! I finally found them.

Oh! I also wanted to tell you something that has nothing to do with today’s post. Did you know that Jcrew and Madewell now carry plus size pieces? They are not large collections, but I am so glad that both brands have finally decided to cater to women over size 14. As far as sizing, I have not tried them yet. However, I am currently working on a post about their offerings.
