Bold prints have been everywhere for a while now. That makes me happy because to know me is to know how much I love beautiful prints and bright colors. I love mixing them, wear them with neutrals or full on like my outfit today. As far as I am concerned bold prints add a lot of personality to my boring outfits. Read More »

Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. Some of my favorite transitional pieces are trenchcoats (black, and camel), utility jackets, lightweight cardigans, ankle boots, scarves, denim shirts, long sleeve dresses, white shirts, pretty printed blouses, flannel shirts, etc. Read More »

As one of the Le Château’s style ambassadors , I get to pick my favourite items from the store each month. This blush waterfall vest , or some might call it a draped open front vest was one of my choices for June. I guaranty you that this is one of those vests would will be wearing all summer. You’ll have the choice to pick it up in white, black and blush of course. It’s a very well made and a bit heavy which makes it a great transition piece as well. For a night in town , I thought it would be super cute with this palm print romper. Read More »

Update: Joe Fresh now carries Plus size, find it here
Happy Thursday! I finally got my act together to bring you another closet remix post. This time I opting for the 10 pieces 20 different ways challenge. Right after fashion week, I’ve made the decision to get rid of half of my closet. Yes, half of my closet. I know someone asked me over on Instagram if I wanted to sell my clothes. I wanted to, but then again at this point I just do not have the time nor the energy to do a sale. Half of the clothes already went to the Salvation Army, and the other half is sitting in a suitcase waiting for my sister to pick up (lucky girl !).
I have a lot, I mean a lot of clothes. Lately, I have been overwhelmed with my dressing room. There were clothes too small, out of date, or simply sitting there with tags.I realized that I am actually more in love with the idea of a full closet than what is actually there. I want to start fresh. Letting go was not easy, but I had to. My style has changed within the last few years and some of these items no longer fit my personal style. Now, I can almost see everything I own.
