 We’ve been looking forward to getting outside this month to start gardening and enjoy our new lush green lawn in the backyard. Our plan was to start gardening in early mid-May, but due to my illness and somewhat longer winter that was not possible. I must admit that I do not know a lot about gardening and I have always been so envious of those who have a green thumb.  Since I partnered with Scotts Miracle Gro earlier this year to take care of our lawn, I thought this would be a great opportunity to start my own little herb garden. Cooking is a passion of mine, thus, I have spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Sometimes the best adventures and most beautiful places are just a few hours away from home. Most days, I dream about long walks on sandy beaches in the Caribbean or a day exploring the souks of Marrakech.  The truth is, right here in our backyard and just a few hours away from Toronto, lies an amazing place called Grey County.

A beautiful cloudy day at the most beautiful location ever! I just came back from a press trip from Grey County Ontario. I never knew such a beautiful place existed just a couple of hours north of Toronto. It was a fun filled weekend and we stopped at numerous places around Grey County including Coffin Ridge winery.
