Happy Tuesday, Friends! Super excited to share with you the first-ever tween collection for the 10-13-year-old crew, brought to you by POPSUGAR x Old Navy. We are still unsure whether the boys will be going to school this Fall; nonetheless, I am preparing them as if it were a regular year. Besides, I think both of them have gone through a growth spurt this summer, and their pants are getting shorter by the day.

Are you ready to layer up? It’s almost September and Fall is just around the corner. I am so excited today to partner with Old Navy to style one of my Fall 2013 must-haves. As I mentioned in a previous post Old Navy just launched their women’s plus line here in Canada, and they sent me a very generous gift card to try it out and of course report back to my readers. You already know that I immediately came up with a long list of items I wanted for Fall, ( you can see my list here) and this utility vest was one of them. I am wearing a 1x but this cute vest goes up to 4x. Shopping the women’s plus line is just like shopping the regular line and my shipping took about 8 days which was not bad at all. With the women’s plus line the free return can only be done by mail contrary to what I thought, so that will be something to think about when you make your order, I cannot wait to share the rest of my items in the coming posts. Have you started your Fall shopping yet? Read More »
Now let’s get to the good part. Above are some of the items I want. Summer is almost over, but this sequined chiffon tank is too cute to pass by.The mustard cross body tassel bag, and the twill surplus-Style Vest are definite must haves for me. As for the wide-Calf boots I’ve added both to my list because I cannot decide on the colour yet. My list would not be completed without a pair of slim boyfriend jeans. Although this is not part of the women’s line , I have been eyeing this Women’s belted jersey maxi dress for a while. It comes in four colours, but honestly I would not mind having all 4 of them.
The women’s Plus line is available exclusively at www.oldnavy.ca. You can shop 24/7, with free shipping on orders $50 or more and free returns every day. Not a big fan of online shopping? No problems, BORIS (Buy Online, Return In Store) will come to your rescue. If you don’t like the goods, Old Navy offers free returns via shipping or in store returns. You already know I will be on the site today to get my shopping on, so I will tell you all about my experience in the coming posts.
This post is a sponsored by Old Navy, all the opinions are 100% my own.
Mothers are always on the go. In my case, I go from a work meeting to a beauty/fashion event to basketball practice at night. Those who follow my Instagram stories know how my life can be hectic. That means a comfortable, cute and functional pair of shoe is a must, especially during the cold winter months. Today, I am partnering with Keen Canada to introduce you to their fashion-forward Belleterre Collection.
I’ve sat here now for several hours trying to figure out what to write. I could tell you about this beautiful floral cold shoulder dress, but it’s the end of summer. It would be foolish of me to ask you to invest in it when we are headed colder months unless you really like it of course. I would suggest however you check my pre-Fall outfits post to get started on your Fall shopping. Since I am having a writer block I will leave things here, hoping to come back in full force on my next post. Read More »
How are you guys holding up? Today is quarantine day #20308 and I am close to losing my mind. Keeping up with feeding the baby, cooking, and monitoring the kid’s homework is taking a toll on me. Learning from the news today that this might be our new normal for the next 3 months did not make things better. Thankfully the weather is starting to get be better which means time to venture into the backyard for some fresh air. I do hope we’re all practicing social distancing in order to flatten the curve.

When I had a 9 to 5 job getting dressed for the office wasn’t always a pleasant task. Why? because I love wearing color. It was always hard to pair colors without looking like a rainbow. It’s very rare to see people in the corporate word wear bright colors. Well, it is 2019 and time to add a bit of color to your wardrobe. No idea where to start? No worries, I am bringing you four simple and chic plus size Spring Work Outfit Ideas to get you ready for next season.
5 Plus Size Outfit Ideas with Leggings When Comfort is your Priority
January 5, 2019Plus Size Outfit Ideas with Leggings anyone? Whether you are plus size or not we can all agree that leggings are the one piece of clothing we all go for when we want comfort. Before I started writing this post I went to google and typed “Plus Size Outfit Ideas with Leggings” and funny enough there were not a lot of inspirations out there. I know for a fact that a lot of us plus size women love wearing them so I decided to put together four looks you can rock this winter.
Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. Some of my favorite transitional pieces are trenchcoats (black, and camel), utility jackets, lightweight cardigans, ankle boots, scarves, denim shirts, long sleeve dresses, white shirts, pretty printed blouses, flannel shirts, etc. Read More »
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a closet remix post here. Well, the arrival of IGTV kind of put me in the mood to start again. Filming a vertical video on my phone with minimal editing is a definite game changer. I know you guys love these posts because there is usually a look for everyone. The last time I was in the US, which was just 2 weeks ago I went to Target to pick up a few things. I was lucky to find this beautiful gingham top from the Who What Wear for Target collection on clearance. Since it was only $12 I picked it up with a few other pieces. Read More »
