How to wear a kimono-plus size style

Toronto’s weather was glorious today. You could literally walk outside in shorts and a tee. It reminded me that summer is around the corner. Yes, we might still be social distancing but that does not mean we can’t dress well.

Summer 2020 Patio Wishlist- Vol 1

I am looking forward to sunny summer days because we’ve been home for way too long. It looks like we might spend part of summer at home this year which means we will spend more time in the backyard. In the next few weeks, I will be sharing with you some fab and affordable patio decors and furniture to help you lounge in comfort. I am absolutely in love with this oval chair aka egg chair from Target, unfortunately, I do not have the space for it at this time. If you do, it’s an absolute showstopper. For my Canadian gals who do not have access to Target, I’ve seen at similar one at Home Depot recently. Will you be lounging in your balcony or backyard this year?

5 things to know before Shopping for Fragrances

Happy Tuesday, loves! How is quarantine life treating you? Anyone else feels like 2020 is a wash at this point? Yeah, me too. I am still hoping that things will get back to normal soon. With that being said, a few days ago, I took a poll on my stories to find out if you guys would be interested in seeing our (me and the husband’s) perfume collection or learn about fragrances in general. Almost 90 percent of you said yes. So here I am with my first post.

Up until recently, I did not know much about fragrances. Like many others, I would walk in the store and pick up a perfume that I thought smelled good and call it a day. Never cared about longevity, ingredients, none of that. That changed when I met my husband. He loves fragrances and has a good collection that will probably last him a decade. I’ve learned so much from him that I want to share it with you all. This post will cover some of the basics you should know before venturing out to get your next fragrance. Hopefully, It will give you a glimpse into the wonderful world of scents.

Learning from the news today that this might be our new normal for the next 3 months did not make things better. Thankfully the weather is starting to get be better which means time to venture into the backyard for some fresh air. I do hope we’re all practicing social distancing in order to flatten the curve.

Life Update: New Baby, Pandemic

Pregnancy photo ideas

Hello from the other side! It looks like that’s how we are going to be greeting each other for a little while. I hope you guys are all doing ok and practicing social distancing. My heart is with everyone that has no choice but to go out to work or take care of others. You guys are heroes. These last few months have been hard for me both physically and mentally, so if you had told me that there was a pandemic ahead of us that will have us confined in our homes and claims hundreds of lives, I would not believe you. Yet here we are, all in one boat trying to get to shore as safely as possible. I am dealing with a lot of anxiety, stress, and uncertainty because of the unknown ahead of us.

plus-size sequins dresses for the -holidays-christmas- new years eve

Happy to be kicking off the holiday shopping post series. You’re probably thinking it’s not even Thanksgiving yet why are we talking about plus size holiday party dresses?  Well for one, I find myself dressing up way more than usual during the last two months of the year. With countless of parties (Thanksgiving family dinners, office get-togethers, cocktails, Christmas parties) on the horizon, the last thing I want to do is to worry about is what I am going to wear. If you’re already stressing over what to wear to all the parties happening and looking for a dress option then you’ve come to the right place.

Favorite Toys at Walmart

Are you a good gifter? I am asking because I feel like every year I struggle to find the perfect gift for the adults in my family. Hence the reason why I rarely do gift guides on this blog. I promise you, the longer you know someone the harder it is to find a gift for them. Adults like what they like and that rarely changes. On the other hand, kids are easier to please in my book because as they grow every year their interests also change. That means you have a million toys to choose from.

#MyMoneyVision: Setting Goals To Achieve Financial Success

I remember it all so clearly. Sitting at the sales representative’s desk in the car dealership, I waited with anticipation as he left to check my credit. I could not wait to trade in the car that I had been driving for years. It was an older model that I had bought for only $800 and it kept breaking down every other day. I was in for an upgrade and this would be the perfect opportunity for me to establish my credit. When the representative came back, he told me that my credit history was not in good standing. In disbelief, I could not understand why. Cash only had always been my guiding principle, which meant I had never had a loan or credit card in my name.
