A few days from now, the kids are heading back to school. This was probably one of the fastest summers ever! It seems like school just ended a week ago. This is an exciting time for the kids as they are looking forward to meeting their friends and rocking new stuff. I cannot wait to hear the kid’s stories about their new friends, class, and teachers.
Although I am not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, It’s time to start thinking about back to school. My boys are growing up so fast that I can hardly keep up with their wardrobe. I swear all the pants that fit just two months ago have turned into ankle pants, and all of the long sleeves that were long in January are now quarter length at best. Thankfully, my oldest can pass his clothes to his brother, which saves me a lot of money. Phewww
Dresses with sneakers are my summer 2019 go-to outfits. A few years ago, you would have never caught me in a dress paired with sneakers. Over the year this trend has grown on me. It’s impossible to look at editorial magazines or street style fashion without catching it girls rocking dresses with sneakers.
Happy Tuesday Everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted here. In fact, I almost forgot my login when I tried to get back in today. There are a few good reasons for my absence but the main one is because I lost my dad in May. If you follow me on social media, you probably heard me talk about it already. It was really sudden to the point I have not been able to say goodbye (do we ever?) This is the closest family member I’ve lost and nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to go through. The days that followed were a bit of a blur but I know I was shocked, numb, sad, and at times angry at God. It felt like I lost a part of myself.

When January came to an end, it dawned on me that I had zero plans for March break. Between running my business and planning the renovation of our master bedroom, I totally forgot about planning our usual March break trip. Though this is not the first time we stayed home during a major school break, things are bit different now that the kids are older.
Anthropologie plus size? I must admit this news took me by surprise a couple of weeks ago when I saw an article breaking the news. I have browsed the Anthropologie site many times before wanting a few pieces but could not fit them. Granted they went up to xl which means that I could only fit in it if the dress or top was loose enough. Today’s post is all about my favorite pieces from the Anthropologie plus size line.
I am so happy that they did not come with just 5 pieces to test the waters. This is a full-blown 120-Piece collection. The line is called Aplus and it’s filled with plenty of boho style tops and skirts to make you want to pull out your credit card and start shopping. The sizing is also very generous. If you wear anything from 16W – 26W you are in luck.
As much as I am excited about Anthropologie’s plus size line, I am equally nervous because so many plus size lines have come and gone including one that I helped launched just a couple of years ago. Hoping that never happens or at least before it does let’s check out some of my favorite pieces.
