HO! HO! HO! Welcome to my very first holiday home tour! You guys have been getting glimpses of my family room on Instagram and have been asking for a little tour, so there you have it! A little snippet of what Christmas looks like at our home. Quick note, our tree has yet to be decorated and with Christmas just a few days away I might just leave it the way it is.
I hope everybody is had a great week. I have no complaint so far because the weather has been more than beautiful the last few days. Still cannot believe we are in November. Last week, I wrote a post about leggings. Let me rewind; it was actually about plus size long tops to wear with leggings. I broke down the post in different sections and noticed that many of you were more interested in the plus size long sweaters section. That is totally understandable, after all winter is coming. I feel like I see plus size long sweaters everyday while I am doing research for other posts, but for some reason, I had a hard time finding cute ones today. No worries, I went to digging mode and came up with a few that I loved. A few of them were included in my previous post, but most of them are new items. Hopefully, you’ll find something from the list below.

December 2, 2018Is there anything cuter than matching family holiday pajamas on Christmas day? I don’t think so. I bet the sale of Pajamas doubles around this time of the year. The first thing that drew me to matching Christmas PJs was probably all of the cute photos of families on Instagram. Yes, I am not ashamed to say that I am influenced by what I see on the gram. Now it’s a tradition, every year we must get new matching Pajamas. The idea of cozying up in coordinating pajamas makes the whole holiday season a little extra special. Not only am I planning on buying a bunch for my family, but I also plan on buying some as gifts.

I consider myself someone who is more money conscious than the average person. However, being money conscious does not necessarily mean that I always make the best money decisions. If you’ve been reading the blog this year, then you know I had a goal to get better at managing my finances. I want to make better choices as far as what I spend on and invest my money in. Most of us influencers fell into this job with very little knowledge about how to deal with finances. For that reason, our stress level is always at 100 percent because of the unknown that lies ahead. Since November is Financial Literacy Month, I’ve partnered with Capital One Canada to share some tips and tricks to help manage the stresses associated with money. Read More »
A leather skirt is a go-to staple around this time of the year. Not only does it keep you warm, it’s also a versatile piece that is trendy and fashion-forward. While doing my weekly thrifting last week I stumble upon two brand new leather skirts from Danier. I was shocked to say the least because I never knew Danier carried any size over XL. Both skirts were a size US 24 but different lengths. Obviously they are not true to size but my luck because they both fit me perfectly. Read More »
Plus size faux fur & Teddy Coats are in and here to say! I am happy that we (plus size women) get to enjoy current trends with the rest of the world finally. Last fall, I fell in love with a teddy coat from Zara long story short, it was too small. I looked around online but nothing. Guess what? This year, I am getting myself one because they are everywhere and perfect for fall and winter. I consider myself to be half and half when it comes to trends. Most times I am like “hell no I am not spending $500 just to be trendy” but this time I am saying yes to the coats. They are warm, plush and stylish, are you with me?

Happy Tuesday Loves! The cool weather is finally here and I am so excited to finally layer up. I like to buy a few of my key Fall pieces during the sales that happen in the middle of summer, but this year I missed out. Thankfully, as we get closer and closer to Autumn new plus fall size coats drop every week so this procrastinator still has some time to get her coats. Read More »
Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. Some of my favorite transitional pieces are trenchcoats (black, and camel), utility jackets, lightweight cardigans, ankle boots, scarves, denim shirts, long sleeve dresses, white shirts, pretty printed blouses, flannel shirts, etc. Read More »
