Happy December friends! I hope you had a wonderful week. I intended to finish my holiday decor last month. I know, I’ve talked about getting the tree out a while back, but life happened. Either way today we are not going to talk about my house decor instead we are going to talk about gift ideas from one of my favourite Canadian stores, Reitmans. Read More »

There are only 3 things I wish for on Mother’s Day: Lot of kisses and hugs from the boys and a cute dress for brunch. This will be my ninth year celebrating mother’s day. Where has time gone? Before we know it we’ll have full-blown teenagers. I feel incredibly blessed to have two happy, healthy children and an incredible husband.

When I had a 9 to 5 job getting dressed for the office wasn’t always a pleasant task. Why? because I love wearing color. It was always hard to pair colors without looking like a rainbow. It’s very rare to see people in the corporate word wear bright colors. Well, it is 2019 and time to add a bit of color to your wardrobe. No idea where to start? No worries, I am bringing you four simple and chic plus size Spring Work Outfit Ideas to get you ready for next season.
Whether you’re counting down the weeks until sweater weather or hoping summer could hang just a bit more, it’s safe to say we’re now in that awkward, in-between stage. It’s hard to find something to wear because the weather is unpredictable. For instance yesterday Toronto beats temperature record at 32 degrees Celsius. So do not put away your summer clothes yet, instead try to be creative by mixing and matching or layering them with other lightweight pieces when the weather cools down. Some of my favorite transitional pieces are trenchcoats (black, and camel), utility jackets, lightweight cardigans, ankle boots, scarves, denim shirts, long sleeve dresses, white shirts, pretty printed blouses, flannel shirts, etc. Read More »
Is it too early to talk about Fall shopping? One, I am just trying to fulfill my blogger duties. Two, the heatwave we’ve been having as of late got me thinking about Fall. Today’s post is all about two pieces that I consider to be absolute essentials for surviving any Fall season: Cardigans and leggings. It may not be chilly enough yet, but it’s the perfect time of year to start adding some pieces to your wardrobe. Many of us missed out on the great deals of the Nordstrom sale but rest assured that there are still some good deals from other brands to grab now. Read More »
I’ve finally decided to write an extensive post about plus size rompers and jumpsuits.. I know they are not everyone’s cup of tea because they can be quite intimidating. Today, I would like to address the two main questions I get from you guys. The first is “where to buy plus size rompers and jumpsuits?”. The second is “how to find the right one for your shape and size?” I am actually shocked that I never addressed those questions in any of my previous posts. Well ! It’s never too late.
Where to buy plus size rompers and Jumpsuits

After blogging for many years, the question about where to buy affordable plus size clothing in Canada still pops up on my feed now and then. To be honest, this question is a little hard to answer because what might be affordable to me might not be for you.We can least agree that a piece of clothing under $50 is affordable to most. If you’re a long time reader, you already know most of the items I wear on this blog are accessible to everyone.

Cardigan/ Cami/ Pants c/o Reitmans
I have been blogging for years. For all those years I and others have fought tooth and nail for inclusivity and better fashion for plus size women. First, some brands listened and started to make plus-sized lines. We were happy until we found out that the lines would only be carried online (insert sad face). If they were carried in the store, you had to walk into the darkest corner at the back to get them. Even then, the items in plus were different from the straight size ( insert another sad face).
Fast forward to 2017 and enter Reitmans. One of the few brands that took note and made changes. Now, Reitmans carries clothing up to 3x both online and in STORE. Read More »
